Basit A. Malik, M.D.

Rheumatologist

After completing his Internal Medicine residency at The University of Texas, Houston, TX and Rheumatology fellowship at Georgetown University, Washington, DC in 2005, Dr. Malik began his career as the Consultant Rheumatologist at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center and worked at the Medical Specialties, PA.  Since 2006, he has also been involved with multiple clinical research protocols as a Principal Investigator at the PRN of Kansas, which is the center for clinical research in Wichita, KS.  As he continues his tenure with the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center and PRN of Kansas, Dr. Malik established his private practice (Malik Rheumatology, PA) in August of 2009 in Hutchinson, KS.  In 2012, he expanded his practice from Hutchinson to Wichita, KS to better serve his patients and since June 2019 he is only seeing patients in Wichita now.  With both clinical locations and research duties keeping him busy, he continues to expand his knowledge and education in Rheumatology via CME courses (Continued Medical Education for Physicians).
